What halal certification means for a supplement
A halal-certified supplement is reviewed as it is actually manufactured. The certifier examines the source of every ingredient, including flavors, colors, capsule shells and processing aids, and the facility and process used to make it. That is why "halal certified" is a stronger statement than "halal ingredients": the certification covers the process, not only the recipe.
- No gelatin. Every DeenFuel gummy is set with fruit pectin. Capsules are vegetable cellulose or hypromellose. Vitamin D3 with K2 is a chewable tablet.
- No pork-derived ingredients in any DeenFuel product.
- Disclosed animal sources. The only animal-derived active ingredient in the range is the tuna oil that supplies DHA in the Prenatal gummies, and the label carries a fish allergen warning. Golden Years is vegan, with vitamin D3 from lichen.
